OEM Engine Parts Manufacturer Inc. is a major supplier of a wide range of engine gaskets and repair kits. Products in the ISO 9001:2000-certified firm's catalog include full sets, head sets, cylinder head gaskets, and rubber compounds (rocker covers, oil pans, oil seals, valve stem seals, liner O-rings, O-rings, etc.).

The company markets its high-quality products around the world under three internationally known own brands: JLC, OEM, and HDI. It also supplies products to vehicle and machinery makers worldwide on an original equipment (OE) basis, as well as to major gasket brands on an OEM basis. In addition, the company can develop gaskets to the specifications of automakers or international brands.

OEM president Roger Wang claims that his is the only company in Taiwan that insists on using high-density 100% non-asbestos materials supplied by Interface Solutions of the U.S., 100% pure copper material (rather than copper coating or plating), and top-level Viton rubber material in making its products. As a result, OEM claims, the quality of its products can be even better than that of OE parts.

“OEM's product quality meets OE standards, and is even upgraded to a higher level,” Wang claims. “And all of our products are made in Taiwan using the best possible materials.” This has helped OEM differentiate its products from those made by low-end counterparts. “While most local companies moved their production lines to mainland China about 15 years ago,” Wang comments, “we chose to keep all production in Taiwan and use only the best materials. Now all signs indicate that our decision was the right one, assuring the finest product quality, most trustworthy operation, and best services.”

The company supplies gaskets and repair kits for more than 10,000 models of diesel tractors, agricultural machinery, and heavy-duty machines, as well as gas-powered passenger automobiles and classical car makes. In addition to engine gaskets, OEM also offers engine valves, liner kits, main and connecting rod bearings, piston sets, piston rings (imported from NPR, TP, and Riken of Japan, or made in Taiwan), clutch and brake repair kits, brake drums, and disk pads.
