Tainan City Government claimed that it had set up 62 EV charging stations in the city, and would promote adoption of the zero-emission EVs, buyers of a BEV qualifying for commodity-tax break provided by the central government, as well as license and fuel tax breaks.

K.C. Hu, president of Luxgen Motor Co., Ltd., pointed out that his company's cooperation tie with Tainan City Government is very important. So far a total of 151 LUXGEN7 MPV EV+s have joined different EV pilot projects around Taiwan as government fleet cars, tourist buses, and short-term lease vehicles.

Luxgen of Yulon Group has focused on development of BEVs for many years, with the LUXGEN7 MPV EV+ being the first locally-made BEV nationally certified. Hu stressed that his company will continue to provide high-quality, reasonably-priced EVS to further upgrade the popularity of such green vehicles.
