H.K. Int'l Autumn Lighting Fair Has New Features This Year
2012/10/26 | By Ken LiuTaipei, Oct. 26, 2012 (CENS)--The Autumn 2012 edition of the Hong Kong International Lighting Fair will be staged Oct. 27-30 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center to offer many first-time features, including the Advertising Lighting and Small-Oder zones as well as the Hong Kong International Lighting Products Award.
The Advertising Lighting Zone will include advertising lighting as LED display panels, light boxes and neon signs.
Considering increased tendency for importers and distributors to place smaller orders more frequently with shorter lead time to minimize inventory, HKTDC will present the Small-Order Zone to serve buyers aiming to place orders of 50-1,000 pieces.
The Hong Kong International Lighting Products Award 2012 will honor lighting products of superb quality and design in four categories: lighting source, architectural/commercial lighting, decorative indoor lighting and outdoor lighting. Winning products will be displayed on-site throughout the fair.
This fair is recognized as Asia's biggest lighting event, attracting 2,170 manufacturers this year, around 70 more than last year's. The exhibitors include 210 Taiwanese participants, organized by China Economic News Service (CENS), the sole licensee of the show in Taiwan authorized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC).
Heavyweight Taiwanese exhibitors include Everlight Electronics Co., Ltd., Epistar Inc., Lextar Electronics Corp., ProLight Opto Technology Corp., Taiwan Oasis Technology Co., Ltd., Ledlink Optics Inc., Genesis Photonics Inc., Home Resources Industrial Co., Ltd., and Rise Lighting Co., Ltd.
Legacy zones this year will include Commercial Lighting, Hall of Aurora, Household Lighting, LED & Green Lighting, Lighting Accessories, Parts & Components, Lighting Management, Design & Technology and Outdoor Lighting.
The Hall of Aurora will showcase over 300 quality brands from 27 countries as ASFOUR, BJB, Citizen, CREE, EGLO, EVERLIGHT, Fulham, Fumagalli, MEGAMAN, Neo-Neon, OPTILED, Philips, Seoul Semiconductor, Viri Bright and Vossloh-Schwabe.
