Taipei, Oct. 23, 2012 (CENS)--The Taipei International Travel Fair (ITF) 2012, to start October 26, will see 12 airlines in attendance, including China Airlines, TransAsia Airways, and Japan Airlines Corporation, including Eva Airways, Mandarin Airlines, UNI Air, All Nippon Airways, Vietnam Airlines, Hawaiian Airlines, Hong Kong Airlines, South African Airways, and Turkish Airlines, to record a new high since the inception of the show. To boost sales, many airlines will promote premium packaged tours to attract consumers.

For instance, China Airlines, Taiwan's flag carrier, is working with International Games System Co., Ltd. (IGS), a Taiwanese company specializing in video gaming software for arcades and personal computers, and have developed a Facebook game dubbed “Airline Fantasy,” enabling players to role-play flight attendants, dispatchers, or pilots to virtually visit scenic spots around the world.

The game will be officially introduced at the ITF 2012 on October 26, and China Airlines will hold lucky draws and offer free gifts to visitors who log on to play on- site.

TransAsia Airways, a relatively-new Taiwanese mid-sized airline, will promote nine premium packaged tours at ITF 2012, which will be underlined by its booth design and visual presentation centered around its newly-purchased A330 plane, coupled with A330 experience areas, 3D films, and A330 LEGO model airplane display.

Taping opportunities generated by the visa-waiver for Taiwanese travelling to the United States, Japan Airlines will promote early-bird program for such flights.
