Taipei, Aug. 20, 2012 (CENS)--To assist Taiwanese textile industry to tap the American textile market, the Taiwan Textile Federation (TTF) will lead 25 companies to take part in the 2012 MAGIC Autumn/Winter show in Las Vegas to be staged August 20-23, 2012, which, according to TTF, will be the biggest oversea trade show for the domestic textile industry after the global financial tsunami.
The MAGIC show, inaugurated in 1993, is known as the preeminent trade event in the international fashion industry, presenting a professional textile and garment exhibition of men's, women's and children's apparel, footwear, accessories, sourcing resources and edgy couture.
Some of the Taiwanese firms to go to Vegas include Chanitex Co., Ltd., BSP (Taiwan) Co., Ltd. Chico Group, Hi-Tec Industrial Co., Ltd., Jet Goal Enterprises Co., Ltd, Paoko Industrial Co., Ltd., Triad International Corp, Giovanni Co., Ltd., Long-Chung Enterprise Co., Ltd., San Sing Enterprises Co., Ltd., and Deluxe Hosiery Mills Co., Ltd.
The organizer said recently the show will be spread over 3,100 square feet with more than 3,000 exhibitors from 80 countries, as well as over 5,000 brands with 20,000 different fashion collections, and to attract an estimated 100,000 purchasers from around the world.
Based on TTF's Textile Export Promotion Project commissioned by the Bureau of Foreign Trade, for the first time Taiwanese exhibitors will cluster to promote high-quality textile products with the theme “Think Taiwan for Textile,” to build global exposure while entering the U.S. market.
Taiwanese exhibitors will present fabrics, accessories, garments, and sweaters in the Taiwan Pavilion, with the TTF planning to launch interactive promotional activities to stimulate purchaser willingness, as well as expecting fruitful outcome due to the array of products featuring both form and function.
