Sheraton Kampala Hotel of Uganda has recently replaced many of its traditional interior lights with 5W LED MR16 lamps made by Glacial Tech Inc., a Taiwan-based company specializing in thermal-dissipation solutions, power supply and LED lighting.

Glacial Tech's lamps, labeled with brand name “GlacialLight”, have shown impressive efficiency in Sheraton Kampala Hotel's project by reducing over 76% of electrical bill the hotel used to spend with incandescent lamps.

Designed to fit existing luminaires, the company's lamps save the hotel additional costs on lighting fixture replacements. Their zero flickering assures users of a pleasant lighting environment.

Glacial Tech has made its LED lamps available in various applications worldwide, citing the average longevity of 20,000 hours of its LED lamps. They have gone into residential lighting, commercial lighting, specialty lighting, public project lighting, and industrial lighting.
