Optical lenses for LED lights

Ledlink Optics Inc. has been recognized by LED packagers Cree, Edision, Osram, and Seoul Semiconductor as a main supplier of optical-lens solutions to their products, which have been adopted by over 300 LED lighting manufacturers in 35 countries.

The company's general manager, Telung Tang, touts that LED lighting fixtures produce more light, save more electricity fee and are much friendlier to the environment than traditional lights.

Founded in February 2008, Ledlink is a total-solution provider, supplying everything from lens design and module design to module manufacturing and heat-sink manufacturing. The capability allows the company to offer optimal lens and just-in-time service to various applications, including streetlights, architecture lights, stage lights, and interior lights.

For streetlights alone, the company has introduced at least 10 standard lenses that allow LED lamps to produce high-uniformity light in symmetrical or asymmetrical rectangular pattern.

Moreover, the company has completed tailor-made streetlight lenses for over 60 customers around the world. “We offer ideal ODM and OEM services in terms of cost efficiency and product performance,” Tang stresses.

The company will display its latest products at booth 1308, Hall 1 of Taipei World Trade Center during the 2010 Taiwan Lighting Technology Show, slated for March 12-15. (KL)
