The 6th IPF2010 or Dhaka International Plastic, Packaging and Printing Industrial Fair will be held at the Bangladesh - China Friendship Conference Center from January 25 - 28, 2010, where global buyers can look forward to seeing state-of-the-art technologies, machinery and accessories for the plastics, packaging and printing sectors. Operators along the supply chain in Bangladesh and elsewhere can expect to further build business by making new contacts as well as meet long-term clients.

The trade event will be attended by 200 international and domestic exhibitors from 20 countries, including Austria, Bangladesh, China, India, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, UK, and U.S.A., and is expected to attract more than 15,000 visitors.
Upbeat Outlook
Global investors and operators interested in the IPF2010 are reportedly optimistic about the Bangladeshi business prospects, which is buoyed by the promising industrial development in the nation: as of 2008 the Bangladeshi GDP increased by 6.5%, with industrial growth by 9.5%, figures of which motivate the Bangladeshi government to be confident that foreign investors would be attracted to this nation with significant business potential.
Last year's event attracted more than 12,745 professional visitors, who procured more than a hundred machines valued at some US$15 millions, with well-known international plastics companies as Hyplas and Starlinger planning to return in 2009.
