Founded in 1986, Eminent Main Industrial Co.,

Ltd. supplies a variety of halogen machine lamps, magnifier lamps, tower lights, fluorescent work lights, and waterproof machine lamps for industrial purposes.

In its first year of operation, the company developed the industry's first quartz halogen work lamps with ergonomic designs and easy-to-operate, heat insulating handles. Shortly thereafter, the company introduced engineering-plastic lamp bases and articulating lamps.

Three years later, the company began developing waterproof structures for lamp heads and introduced low-wattage lamps with magnetic bases capable of delivering high-intensity brightness. Soon after its introduction, this lamp won a patent for its unique structure and design.

In 1993, the company began exporting its lamps and received orders from European and American buyers. Shortly afterwards, CIN in the U.K. and OKK and DNE in Japan became Eminent's customers. In 1994, the company gained GS and TUV approvals. In the following year, FKB of Germany contracted with Eminent to supply ODM-based products.

In 1997, the company introduced Taiwan's first enclosed PL working lamp, which was awarded two patents.

Over the past few years, Eminent has won several more patents and approvals including the Nemko, CE, GS, UL, and TUV certifications. In the meantime, the company has branched into LED light tower manufacturing and has acquired several patents for its unique designs for these products.

Eminent introduced several innovative products from 2003 to 2005, including its ultra-bright LED working lamps and foldable tower lights. The company has also made considerable progress in lamp-arm designs, engineering-plastic applications, electronic-ballasts, and in reducing defects during the manufacturing process.

Since its establishment, the company has pursued the goal of making its products ergonomic and friendly to users. To this end, the company has spared no efforts in improving its processing techniques and designs. (KL)
