The company's light-bar module is developed based on its connector technology, which allows its modules to connect each other to constitute long bars. The longest bar can carry a maximum 100 0.5W emitters. It's a dimmable lighting product and can be assembled by hands. Patents have gone to the connection mechanism of the light bar.
The company specifically develops its dimmers for fluorescent lamps and embeds them in lighting fixtures to make one-piece lighting products, making it convenient for the assembly of the fixtures with lamps. A Philips-made control IC is built into the dimmer to prevent electric shock.
The company has tapped the Japanese market for car-used electronic ballasts and snatched up a considerable market share there.
Diligent efforts in quality improvement have rewarded the company with certificates including ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14001:2004 and ISO/TS 16949:2002.
The company has mostly focused on built-to-order market. It now runs two factories in mainland China. Operation commands come from Taipei headquarters. (KL)
