Kamioka Corporation, founded by Huang Kao-shoung in 1965, is one of Taiwan's most veteran manufacturers of high-value-added machine tools. Ever since its inception, the company has been focusing on developing specialized machines with rigid structure distinct from those made by rivals.

Famous for its own brand of 'Kamioka,' the company boasts it is one of the earliest manufacturers of machinery parts in Taiwan. With decades of development, the company has expanded its product lines to include such high-value-added products as vertical and horizontal machining centers, surface grinding machines, CNC turning centers, machinery accessories and quake prevention equipment.

Kamioka notes it maintains a well-established research and development department in charge of developing innovative machines equipped with sophisticated mechanisms meeting high-end machine tools.

In addition to own-brand products, Kamioka also accepts orders on the OEM and ODM (original equipment/design manufacturer) basis. All the products produced by Kamioka have to pass strict inspection processes before they are shipped. The company currently concentrates on the U.S., European and Southeast Asian markets.

Kamioka boasts its vertical machining center line features two types of construction for the X, Y and Z-axis slide motion, including box way and linear way. There are three configurations for the vertical machining center, including box way on X, Y, Z-axis for wide range of cutting performance; linear way on X and Y-axis and box way on Z-axis for high-precision works; and linear way on X, Y, and Z-axis for engraving.

The company's Longhorn series column-moving vertical machining center is suitable for rectangle workpiece or long-length bar milling, machining, drilling and tapping. The machine is equipped with linear motion guideways on three-axis to offer fast feed, high machining accuracy. (BS)
