Cheer Young Machinery Works Co., Ltd., one of Taiwan`s most veteran manufacturers of plastic extrusion machines, is dedicated to developing multi-layer film-blowing lines to meet customers` increased demand for streamlining production procedures.
With more than a year of development, in the beginning of 2007 Cheer Young debuted a THDP-series film blowing line featuring multi-layer co-extrusion system. The new series of machine is equipped with the oscillating nip roller, the internal bubble cooling device (IBC), and the edge position control device (EPC) aimed at boosting its production speed. To step up the automation of the machine, the company has especially designed an automated back-on-back rewinder which is patented in Taiwan.

Cheer Young president Kuo Ming-yi says the oscillating nip roller can help the films of same thickness and the IBC would be able to boost production speed by 30% up to 40%.
Kuo says the new machine is developed in accord with the same models developed in Europe. "With the assistance of our in-house R&D department, we have improved the functions of the machines during the development period, making it more competitive in quality," Kuo asserts.
At present, Cheer Young`s major product lines include PE/PVC shrinkable film making machine, PP pearl ribbon making machine, flexographic printing machine, bag making machine, recycling and palletizing machine, PE stretch film whole plant, 2/3/5 layer co-extrusion blown film machine, PE waterproof sheet extrusion machine, zipper bag blown film machine, and PE/PP/PVC film whole plant equipment.
Focusing on the machines for rolling out PE and PP films, the company is also capable of developing special-purpose machines for producing the films made of other plastic materials in accord with customers` requirements.
At present, the company exports 80% up to 90% of its output. Major export outlets include Africa, Latin America, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Eastern and Western Europe. The company is a frequent participant in some internationally renowned exhibitions in mainland China, Thailand, Germany, and Columbia. It took part in 10 international exhibitions last year.
