L.J. Auto-Pack Technologies Co., founded in August 2004, is one of Taiwan’s specialized manufacturers of special-purpose machines for the industries of cosmetics, pharmaceutical and food.

The company’s major product lines are top labeling machine, laboratory mixing machine, air blowing machine, 12-nozzle lipstick filling machine, cooling machine, heating tank, rotary tube sealing machine, plugging machines, and capping machine.

The company mainly sells products on the ODM and OBM (original design/brand manufacturer) basis. Unit selling price for its products ranges from US$10,000 up to US$500,000. Major export outlets include Southeast Asia, Latin America, and Europe.

“Our products are uniquely designed to meet customers’ special requirements,” says Yen Ting-li, general manager of the company. “Over the past several years, our sales performance hasn’t been affected by the ups and downs of the overall economy because of the uniqueness of our products.”

The company currently owns a factory of 5,400 square feet in Yungkang of Tainan County, southern Taiwan. To meet the influx of orders from abroad, the company has mapped out a plan to build a new factory with floor space of 288,000 square feet. The proposed new factory is expected to be inaugurated in 2010.
