Huey Long Precision Machinery Co., Ltd., long devoted to the development of a wide range of vertical machining centers and CNC (computerized numerically controlled) lathes, was founded in 1989 by a group of specialists with rich experience in the production of machine tools for large-sized domestic manufacturers in this field.
Huey Long uses high-rigidity column construction on vertical machining centers. Slideways are hardened to meet the HRC50-55 standard and covered with abrasion-resistant slide bearings to minimize slippery and enhance durability.
To ensure quick tool exchange, the company adopts armless-type auto-tool-change (ATC) mechanism operated by pneumatic system. By using the ATC, the machine can speed up tool-change time to 2.1 seconds for chip to chip, and 0.6 second for tool to tool.
The company boasts its vertical machining centers are suitable for mold-making and metal-processing industries. Some items are especially designed to meet the demand of mold-making process.
Fanuc, Mitsubishi, and Siemens are three major CNC controller brands used in the company’s CNC machine tools. The company has cooperated with a domestic software developer to develop CAD/CAM (computer aided design/manufacturing) software system suitable for the mold-making industry.
